Is Microsoft 365 Copilot retrieve information from public internet, when we prompt? No, I guess. I believe that it retrieves data from Microsoft graph, plug-ins, and other connected external source...
You can connect Microsoft Graph with your public website but not all other internet website.
Copilot is connected to Internet but the semantic index is in your tenant
