Copilot cannot access OneDrive for Business files
1. Are you the owner of the file?
2. Was it from another organization and you have downloaded/saved it in your One-Drive?
3. Was it shared from another user, team or org? If shared, do you have correct permissions to access the files?
4. I assume you are using the Copilot Chat in Teams to retrieve the file. How about you open the file and ask Copilot within the respective app some questions about the file?

reachrj Sorry, I missed your reply. Here are the answers to your questions:
1. Yes, I am the owner of the files and the admin/owner of my MS365 E3 as well as my OneDrive for Business, that is connected to my MS365 E3 account.
2. No
3. No
4. No, I'm using Copilot from Copilot.Microsoft.com, and I'm logged in with my MS365 E3 admin account
5. There are too many files for me to have Copilot analyze them individually. I'm looking for data and patterns across a large data set of transcriptions. If I were going to use this method, it would be faster to use ChatGPT+ directly.
The limitations I encounter with Copilot within my own MS365 environment defy logic. I paid extra to have Copilot for 365 because Microsoft sold it as an integrated AI assistant. Yet, Copilot has been very disappointing in terms of what it can do within MS365. At this point, I'd rather have the Windows 8 & 10 Cortana assistant redeployed or integrated with Copilot. Cortana was significantly more useful AND worked seamlessly across all of my Microsoft apps.
Oddly, there was a very small window of time during which Copilot was able to access my files on OneDrive for Business, and then, as mysteriously as it appeared, it vanished.
It just doesn't seem like it should be this difficult to do the most remedial tasks.
