Beginning in May around 1 in 10 servers are freezing at shutdown after installing Windows Updates. Ping continues to work but the servers are otherwise unresponsive. This is happening across all Windows Server OS'es and all platforms (HyperV, physical, Azure, etc.). Support wants a memory dump but the issue isn't reproducible on demand. 😞 Is anyone else seeing the same thing?799Views0likes0CommentsDigital event: Windows Server Summit on September 16

Whenever I spin up a Windows Server data center I have issues using the CLI to download/install and cannot install most things using Internet explorer. I cannot install Edge or IDEs etc. This may be a simple thing as I'm new to this. I try to get WSL downloaded through the cli and it will not work. I turn off the ie advanced security settings in Server Manager so I do not get issues with that security pop up every time however I seem to be missing something here. I was expecting a similar experience in this respect to something like Windows 10. Are there some dependencies required to use a windows server vm in azure normally or some security settings I need to turn off? Am I using the wrong image?Solved1.3KViews0likes3CommentsADFS and multi-factor authenitcation on one server located on an Azure VM
Hi all, Is it possible to setup ADFS and multi-factor authentication on one server? The server will be located on an Azure Virtual Machine and we will be installing Windows Server 2016. We can only afford to use one Azure VM server at present. If it is possible without any issues can you please send some website urls, or video links. I hope you can help. Thanks.
