Windows Servers Freezing at Reboot

Beginning in May around 1 in 10 servers are freezing at shutdown after installing Windows Updates. Ping continues to work but the servers are otherwise unresponsive. This is happening across all Windows Server OS'es and all platforms (HyperV, physical, Azure, etc.).

Support wants a memory dump but the issue isn't reproducible on demand. 😞

Is anyone else seeing the same thing?
