Excel Slicers on data model

That means that the pivot table in question is either
1. Not tied to the data model
2. Not based on the same pivot cache as the other pivot table

Hi, thank you. How do I ensure then that the table is linked to the data model? I can see there is a relationship established between the two tables through the ID. I am not sure what you mean about pivot cache also, I will have a research
- Roughly speaking, there are two types of pivot tables:
1. Tied to a range directly (classic)
2. Tied to the data model
When you insert a new pivot table, the dialog has a "Data model" checkbox with the obvious effect!- I see, I thought so. Yes, I did do this. So I'm not sure what's wrong. Maybe I'll re-create it all and try again 🙂 thanks
