Work on a copy with Excel online, without opening the desktop app.

This is the scenario

Two Excel documents. (one for managers and one for employees),. Emmployees works on a copy.

It works fine if both worksheets are opened in the Desktop version, but not online version.

What I did. I made a second worksheet. Copied one tab to the new worksheet.

Manager and Project is the source for Weekplan in both sheets. Updated by changing the weeknumber

In the Desktop version it works, in the web/online version we get #ref.

Is this a possible scenarios. Or is using the desktop version the only option?
