Why sum at the bottom?
Why does Excel show an average, count and sum at the bottom of the workbook....but then hide it if the user clicks into a different workbook to enter that information? It doesn't hide it if the user clicks into a pdf or a web browser, where that information is less likely to be required. Are we expected to accurately remember 6+ digit numbers hundreds of times daily or....?
If you click on for example Sum: 37 in the status bar, Excel will copy the value 37 to the clipboard, ready to be pasted where you need it.
