By the way, what is "crawl a keyword"?

Because i usually post in excelforum.com and they can reply fast and very well..., but right now they are down... so I am really in need of a such a great help and fast responds..

I am posting at few different forums here :

what I meant by crawl is retrieving, so in my case, it crawls colomn A at sheet 2 then retrieve it to colomn B at sheet 1.

@asdf_99 The link to MrExcel is incorrect. Nevertheless, I found you there and it seems you have an answer there already.

Yes, but the function was not working at all as it gave me not a valid function notification. Please send me in google excel sheet link so we all can know how to crawl it. Thank you

@asdf_99 On MrExcel you mentioned that you work with Excel 2021. There's no such thing as "Google Excel".

yes I work on excel 2021 https://prnt.sc/adjsED-ulsfN, but eventually I'd need to put it into google excel
I have tried with a semicolon (;) but it did not worked also https://prnt.sc/CWMjj_0YPhJM

@asdf_99 Used the file you uploaded to MOTH, the formula you got on MrExcel and pasted it into the file. It worked, provided you really are using Ms365, Excel 2021 or the on-line version.

See attached.

And, if this resolves your issue, you should perhaps close the threads on all other message boards

Thank you, but I have tried this as I try to copy paste it then it became error (https://prnt.sc/h9UjnfWxo0SC), see this is what had happened :
1. I opened your file, result was good
2. I clicked on the field (sheet 1 A2), (because I tried to copy - paste the formula to my google excel sheet.
3. then I let go of my cursor from the field
4. then the result became error '#NAME?'

@asdf_99 Oh my! what is "Google Excel"? If you are referring to GoogleSheets the functions probably doesn't work there. you need to ask your question in a Forum that deals with GoogleSheets, not Excel!

I am very sorry for that, may I know where to find google excel in this forum ?
but I also tired with my offline Ms excel and it does not worked as like how I have mentioned before:

1. I opened your file, result was good
2. I clicked on the field (sheet 1 A2), (because I tried to copy - paste the formula to my google excel sheet.
3. then I let go of my cursor from the field
4. then the result became error '#NAME?'

@asdf_99 Sorry to be blunt. You are wasting my time. Are you using Microsoft Excel? If so, which version and on which platform?

If you are using Google Sheets, try the link below:

I am very sorry if I had wasted my time but I very much appreciate of your help. I have tried that link but were not able to find the formula I was looking for nor any kinds of forum..

here's my excel version https://prnt.sc/LPSUZ25fCeHD

@asdf_99 So you do have Excel 2021. Then the formula should work. Have no more suggestions for you.

Hi @riny,

I am very sorry to have wasted your time and truly appreciate your great endeavor in helping. But as I mentioned earlier, it worked, but then got broken right away so I could not use it properly.

Here what happened :
1. I opened your file, result was good
2. I clicked on the field (sheet 1 A2), (because I tried to copy - paste the formula to my google excel sheet.
3. then I let go of my cursor from the field
4. then the result became error '#NAME?'

@asdf_99 For the last time! What is a "google excel sheet"?

Hi @Riny,

Sorry for the confusion, what I meant was 'Google sheet'. But I would love to try and do it in Ms excel offline for now since it would still be ok for me.

Thank You
