Using COUNTIF(S) or SUMIF(S)-functions with SUBTOTAL-function
Hey!
I keep a record of the training of athletes in Excel. The same view has a table for attendance and event data and an athlete-specific summary where I use the COUNTIF and SUMIF functions
For monitoring, the tables should sometimes be filtered by time period or type of exercise, but because these functions cannot be used in conjunction with the SUBTOTAL function, the summary is not updated by filtering.
Does anybody have a similar problem and how has it been solved?
Is there any information on whether product development is coming to Excel in this regard?

- can you show us a sample of what you mean? as in tables if you filter, your sums & results will filter also

Unfortunately, it is in Finnish. At the top is a summary table of reasons for absences, next is an athlete-specific summary and at the bottom is event data.
Reasons for absences are calculated with the "countif" function and do not follow event data filtering.
black cells are the names of the athletes
