Unable to open excel files in folders or on the desktop
I am new to Excel 2021. I purchase a "permanant lease" for miscosoft Office suite 2021 recently.
I cannot open any excel file in any folder nor on the desktop. When I open a file in excel and then save it to a folder or the desktop I cannot open it again. Instead I get the following error message:"This action is only valid for products that are curently installed". I have installed excel.

First of all, I recommend that you carry out an update and then an Office repair.
If none of these help, here is a link with additional steps you could take.
Turn Microsoft Defender Firewall on or off
Sign in to Office with the right account
...if this all not help, as a last resort one could also try this
Download and install or reinstall Microsoft 365 or Office 2021 on a PC or Mac
