TYPING SEQUENCE OF DATES

HI,

I am not sure if I am the only one who doesn't know but I usually type the date  which is the month and then the day in Excel. I think I changes something from the settings as I have to type the day first before the month now. Can somebody help me please. Thank you in advance

    This is controlled by a Windows setting (region and language). Press your Windows key and type region settings.

      Thanks for the reply, but that was the first thing I did, I change the settings but didn't work. I still need to type the day first before the month which is not normal to me. I am using Macbook anyways, Is there a difference?

        Dunno, I' pleased to say I do not have any Apple devices
