Tracking Changes- Loss of Text Import and Data tab
Hello,
I am trying to figure out why the Data tab greys out when I try to make an excel workbook track changes(changes the file to shared). This is causing issues with pasting with text wizard. Is there a fix for this?

There is a possibility that two or more sheets have been selected. To ungroup sheet, right-click the active sheet tab and select "Ungroup Sheets"
Another possibility is that, Sheet is Protected hence, the tab is not available. Proceed to Review tab and verify if the Sheet is Protected or not... If its protected, you need to un-protect.
Do let me know if the suggestions worksAbiola1unfortunately the error is still happening even when I try a blank sheet. It is unprotected as well. I asked our IT department if it could be a firewall issue, but yes every time I set it on shared it is greying out the Data tab and preventing me from using text import.
