Tools , options, custom lists

I have office 365 and in excel am looking for the tools tab.  For an assignment I have to choose tools, options and then click custom lists tab.  I cannot find the tools tab on my version. Can you please tell me how to find it or add it in.

    Which means the assignment hasn't been updated for over a decade. Hmm.

    Hi Shari,

     

    There is no tab in Excel 2007 or later called (Tools), but it found in Excel 2003 and earlier.

    Please make sure the version of Excel used in the assignment.

     

    However, you go to the Custom Lists by following this path:

    File >> Options >> Advanced

    Then scroll down until you find the General category.

    In this category, you will see the Edit Custom Lists button.
