Taking photos in the Excel desktop application

Copper Contributor

Hello,

in the mobile Excel application it is possible to take picture that I want to put in the sheet. In the desktop Excel I can't find it, there is only option to attach the picture from the hard drive. I use 2in1 computer so I have desktop app but it would be so convenient if it is possible to take pictures directly in the app.

Is there any solution for ma issue?

Regards :)

You can take a screenshot from within Excel.

Activate the Insert tab of the ribbon.

In the Illustrations group, click on Screenshot.

You can select one of the available (Excel) windows, or click on Screen Clipping to drag a rectangle.

unfortunately it is not a solution for me. I need to take a picture and put it into file. (I can take it and than upload) but I wonder is there is an option to directly take it and have it in the file (like in the mobile version) :\
