Sum by font colour in Excel? (VBA help anyone?)

Question

Hi All&nbsp;I have a raw data, dataset which I receive but cannot control the source and structure of.&nbsp;&nbsp;It uses font colour to categorise the type of data&nbsp;Can anyone assist with a macro to "sum by colour category" ?

Hi&nbsp;Abiola1&nbsp;thanks for these links. Unfortunately the two excel solutions are both based on background colour (not Font Colour) and the =get.cell function is "not valid"&nbsp; &nbsp;I guess i have to add it somehow, but unless one can "get font" colour then it doesnt help.&nbsp;&nbsp;The VBA version is also based on background colour, but i am going to see if i can replace&nbsp;GetCellColor with getfontcolour&nbsp;wish me luck🙂

Hi Again&nbsp;Abiola1&nbsp;Just thought I would confirm, the ablebits VBA code did cover it. I didnt notice at first that the long code provided included a font colour option as well as fill colour.&nbsp;Many thanks for your help, this is much appreciated.&nbsp;
