Stop automatic hyperlinks for email addresses in Excel

I want Excel to stop automatically creating hyperlinks for email addresses.  What I have tried so far is to select Options > Proofing > Change how excel corrects and formats text as you type

Unfortunately, the "AutoCorrect Options..." button is grayed out.  I am the admin, so it's not a lack of account access.  There must be something I can do to un-gray this option.
