Simple Gannt Chart

Hello,

I need someones help! I am making a project timeline for the company I work for. I am using the simple gantt chart template on excel. I want to be able to enter numbers within the bars, and have them move with that specific date. The reason for this is to tally up the numbers for all jobs during each day for total man power at the bottom of the chart. When I enter numbers in the chart right now, then change the date, the numbers stay in the same position and do not move with the date.
