Setting graph colours to results.
I have created a log with a second sheet displaying MI in pivot tables and charts all linked to a few slicers. The pivots are all set to not store the data.
Everything is how I want it with a stacked bar chart showing pass/fail totals a pie chart showing overall pass/fail split by percentage with Pass colored Green and Fail colored Red.
When I clear the data ready to send it out to a few different teams it automatically very hides the pivot sheet as there is no data. When they enter data, selecting the pivot sheet resets the pivot range, unhides the pivot sheet and refreshes all pivot tables. The problem is if the first and only row they enter is a fail it colors green, or if they enter a pass and a fail both are green. Is there a way to get the charts to remember settings and colors for the pass and fail.

Hello,
pivot charts have a reputation of weird behaviour, especially when the data is removed and then re-added. You could try playing with the setting for charts in File > Options > Advanced. See if toggling the tick boxes highlighted in the screenshots make a difference. Note that this setting is saved with the workbook, not for Excel overall.
