Set default font for excel template,changed options-general and it doesn't work with new sheets

Hi, 

I need help with formating my excel template. I created the template and cannot set a default font for a the workbook. All works fine with sheet 1 but if you add another sheet, the colour theme is retained but the font reverts to Verdana 11pt but the default value set was Arial 10. 

Please anyone help ?
