@blakeomlie My guess is that you tried to freeze the top two rows by selecting entire rows 1 and 2, and then pressed Freeze Panes. That doesn't work as you may expect, unfortunately. It freezes the panes, splitting the grid in four equal portions
Undo the Freeze Panes step and now select cell A3 and then press Freeze Panes. That will freeze rows 1 and 2. A3 being the cell above which you want to freeze the rows.
Similarly, if you would want to freeze the rows 1 and 2 AND columns A and B, select C3, and then freeze panes (left of column C and above row 3).
