Removing data point from a horizontal axis

Hi All,

I am Quite new to this and require some help with removing data points from a horizontal axis see below.

how do i remove the underlined dates, i'm sourcing the data from a table where i have the dates on the cells and the data from the dates in columns, these dates are not in the table at all and never were. i cannot edit and add them nor remove them as they don't exist on the table but they show up here in my Graph.
