Removing a drop down list of functions

Does anyone know how to remove a drop-down list showing functions on a cell. The data validation command menu shows grayed out on this cell only. It does not look like a drop-down list from a list.

In Excel 365, if you have a drop-down list showing functions in a cell, it's likely due to the "Formula AutoComplete" feature.
