REF! Error Please help

Used a formula to collect data when I copy the data to a new spread sheet I am getting REF! error.  I have tried every which way to correct this and I am not understanding. 

I used the =LEFT(B2,25)  formula  Line B2 and the first 25 characters.  I then used the right corner to drag it all the way down to all of my 135 line items.  

I then copied this data and pasted it n another sheet and it won't paste.  It only pasts the error REF! and not the actually data.  

Anyone have any solutions for this?

Depends on what you'd like to have in another sheet. If values, when copy 135 cells with formulae, in another sheet Paste->Paste Special->Values
