Problem with Excel
- Jun 29, 2023again, is it possible for you to post the file on OneDrive or GoogleDrive?
Not knowing what the Y axis is in your case, how it (along with the other data) is arrayed, I can't answer. You can help us help you by posting a copy as requested and pasting a link here that grants access
There's a glitch somewhere.
No doubt true.
And given the millions of folks around the globe who are using these same Excel graphs, the odds are that the glitch isn't to be found in Excel in such a manner that it just happened to show up for the first time in your spreadsheet yesterday.
So my suspicion would be that there's something about how you are entering dates that is the underlying cause of these unexpected (and undesired) results when you try to graph your data.
Is it possible for you to post a copy of your workbook on OneDrive or GoogleDrive, with a link here that grants access to it. If there's confidential/proprietary data, do what you need to do to render it anonymous.

Thanks for the information. The problem we were having was with the Y axis. We couldn't sort the numbers in the correct order. We deleted the file we were working with, and started a new one which worked.
Is there a way to sort the Y axis?
Thanks.
- mathetesJun 29, 2023Silver ContributorYour post is confusing. On the one hand you seem to be saying that the new file has worked, implying it worked (resolved) the problem you were having with sorting on the Y axis. So what is the question. Also, again, is it possible for you to post the file on OneDrive or GoogleDrive?
