Problem with excel dates

Hello! the issues is that we have to copy and paste a date from a report to add it in to another report and the date change the format. We have tried everything and we are not sure what might be happening. One thing is that we work in Spain and our colleagues in Sweden, not sure if this is making excel go crazy...

I would like to explain with some images.

This is how it looks:

This is how we want it

I write it like this in the cell

And when I press enter it changes to this

The format appears as this:

But it should appears as this:

If we just change the category to "General" , then in Sample it appears like this:

And once we confirm it it appears 45513 as numbers in the cell 😄

Anyone can give us a idea how to solve this issue?

Thanks!

Before pasting, set the cell's format this custom format:
    dd/mm/aaaa h:mm AM/PM
Then before pasting, select the cell and press F2. Then paste and press Enter.

Hello! I did as you say.

I think there is no issue to copy and paste. The problem comes whenever I change the date.

So I copy and paste the date and it shows ok, but once I change the day to yesterday, it changes.

So I copy the date format :

      09/08/2024 12:00 AM

I paste it and change the day to yesterday

      09/09/2024 12:00 AM

And once I press Enter, it appear like this

      09/09/2024 0:00

      Any suggestion?

        Steps are

        1) Apply desired format to target cells

        2) Copy cell with date and paste to target(s) as value

        3) F2, change date

        4) Enter
