Possible to divide single cell in Excel?

I was wondering if it was possible to split one single box instead of drawing a new column. I need this for a timetable with columns for time periods, and some dates only fill half of the time. (See an ultra-professional sketch below)

No, that is not possible, I'd use two columns for each time period.
