I am trying to generate a formula that will give me the closest airport plus or minus (+/-) based off latitude and longitude. For example, I have an assigned location in a specific state with an assigned latitude and longitude value and I want to obtain the closest airport based off the comparison between the airport latitude and longitude values and the assigned location.
I think 1 to 2 degrees of lat and long is suffice since 1 deg is ~ 69 miles.
