Pivot table to show percentage of occurences compared with the total number

Question

Hi, sorry if this has been answered before.

I have a table where pupil results are recorded term on term. They are recorded in letters such as ARE, ARE +2, ARE -2 etc etc.

I have a pivot table but would like to see what percentage of the children achieved ARE (or any of the other grades) each term.

I seem to only get 100% each time because it compares the number of occurrences with the number of the selected category which will always be the same.

I have made a mock up with dummy data in so that you can see what I mean.
