Pivot table- number becomes date when expand the details
Hi All, I have a problem when I expand the details from Pivot table, all the data in "number" format have been shown as "date" format. How can I solve it? Thanks so much.
Try this:
Select all cells, then press Ctrl+Shift+~
Thanks for the reply. However, the other real date fields become "number" format too.
- It would be better to assign a number format for those columns. The same issue may come out again if the format in is still in General.
Sorry about that, I had to say: select all the numbers that converted to date format, then press (Ctrl+Shift+~) not select all cells!
Anyway, with regards to the real dates that converted to number format, select them, press Ctrl+1 and choose date category, then select the date format that you want.
