In Excel 365, the users cannot able to pick the selected data from the pdf, for example, if from the invoice the user needs to pick the date and billing amount fields, we can't do that. Similarly, transformation is not so powerful, like in python / pandas etc. They have a reader utility to read pdf files and then able to manipulate the data with powerful functions and features, and get the cleaned data as "data frame". PQ do have some good transformation, but the level of Python, pandas and their libraries have too much power and flexibility. I request Microsoft to look for such features, as this is the tool used by more than 750 million people globally, and should have such capabilities. If python / pandas queries could be run on the Excel than it will be a great service as well. Data importation if in pdf is not at all good in Excel, if we compare it with other open tools.
