paste a simple formula by locking one or more cell references.
example: I want to paste =f5/j22 but want to keep the first cell reference (f5) on all pasted additional cells basically locking the first cell reference as f5 while having all pasted cells below represent the nest cell reference. (as is usually the case when I paste a formula.

Did you try $f$5 in your formula? That should lock cell f5 when you paste the formula to other cells.
