Page Break in Excel for mac 365

Copper Contributor

I remember from years ago there were items that you could see on your screen such as Page Breaks and even formulas.  Then there was another view that showed values rather than the formula.  Does anyone know how to toggle these views on and off?

I have several Excel Books, but unless you know the term you are looking for they can become worthless.

1) In the Workbook Views group of the View tab of the ribbon, you can choose between Normal, Page Break Preview and Page Layout.

Page Break Preview displays the page breaks prominently, and the page numbers.

Page Layout displays the pages more or less as they will be printed, including page margins and headers and footers.

2) In the Formula Auditing group of the Formulas tab of the ribbon, you can toggle between showing formulas and showing values by clicking the Show Formulas button.

Thanks for your help.  Hans

It took me a while to figure out how to get to the right place to show formulas.  You mentioned ribbons and some other technical words that my layman brain had a hard time with, but I did finally find what you were talking about. @Hans Vogelaar
