Office Scripts Code Editor closes while editing script

The Office Scripts Code Editor keeps closing while I'm editing scripts in Office 365.  The work isn't lost, but it's annoying to have to keep opening the editor again and setting it to the width I want it. There's no error. It just rests itself. Is there any way to keep the Code Editor window open?
