Now it doesn't give you a choice when you hit save all

Before today, when I hit Save All, I found out that the machine sometimes wouldn't actually save all.  So, I went through the open files and selected save for each one.  A minor inconvenience, but not too bad.  Today, I hit Save all, and it didn't ask me, but went ahead and saved, and, lo and behold, didn't actually save all, just like before.  Is there any way to bring back the prior version?

Confirmed. I had opened up about 6 linked files; renamed them all, checked links and it showed all the new names. Hit Save all, and it didn't save anything. No new links when re-opened. Now I am having to edit links to get them linked properly.
