Not able to add trend line and find regression equation

I am having trouble with try to find a place that I can add a trend line to my scatter plot in Excel. I have the scatter plot set up but it doesn't give me an option of have a plus sign in the right upper corner nor any place to add a trend line. Someone please help!!

Right-click any of the data points in the scatter chart.

You should see 'Add Trendline...' in the context menu.

Alternatively, activate the Design tab of the ribbon (under Chart Tools) and select Add Chart Element > Trendline > Linear (or whichever type you want).
