need help creating a 2023 staffing calendar

I am trying to make a 2023 calendar year Employee Staffing file. I want to be able to auto sort the names alphabetically, and also have the date headline each week without having to manually enter a date in cell A and drag across the row (53 times for each week!).

Here's an example of what it looks like now:

    I think for anybody to help out here, we'd need a bit more data ("bit" may be understating it).

    • What's the data source for all these entries?
      • Specifically, do you have some sort of database you're pulling from in which you've identified who's working each week or each day?
      • Or do you have for each person which days that person is working?
      • etc

     

    Organizing the data is one thing, but if you want Excel to "to the heavy lifting" it would help if you could identify where it has to go to do that lifting.

      First, thank you for taking a look at my request. I really appreciate it.
      This is the source excel file. All the entries of staff names have been entered manually, and it is a four week rotation. I added in the row of dates, one for each week. I want to repeat this 4 week rotation for the rest of the year, with the proper calendar dates. I hope this makes sense.
