MS Excel 365 on Mac keeps crashing
Hello,
I seem to have this issue whose origin I do not understand. At least once or twice a day, MS Excel 365 crashes on me and I get the following message pop-up. I don't know why this is happening. I am not doing anything to trigger a crash that I know of (e.g. heavy coding, too many applications running).
Can someone help me diagnose this problem so I don't end up losing valuable work?
Thank you!

I experience the same. In my case, it seems to often be what begins the day, when that error dialog box appears on the screen. The computer will have been quiet all night (not turned off, just left alone); I had closed all open spreadsheets the night before, but not officially quit Excel.
The computer where this happens is an M1 Mac Mini. Running Mac OS Sonoma 14.1.2
The other bizarre thing that I experience is every once in a while--quite often, in fact--I'll get a message that the system is being prevented from uploading an open Excel file to Microsoft's OneDrive (which is what I use for cloud storage), that I need to login again to my MSFT 365 subscription. The weird thing is that OneDrive IS capturing any changes to the file, despite the message. Nevertheless, I need to sign out and reactivate the subscription in order to get rid of the annoying message.
