Mixing colours of 2 cells into 3rd cell

I am trying to find a way to have excel retrieve the colours of two cells and combine them into a third cell. For example if A1= Blue, A2=Red, I want A3 to calculate purple. Is this at all possible?

This all could be possible with VBA, but you must know the RGB value what you wish for the 3rd cell.
