Manual Iterative Calculation - F9 Key Issue

Copper Contributor

Previous to the most recent Excel 2016 update (Version 2102 (build 13801.203630), while pressing and holding the F9 key, the workbook would repeatedly loop through a Manual iterative calculation (set at 1 iteration, with a max change of 0.001) and still does for most files but has stopped working for one of my files.  Note it still functions as desired with Excel 2010. Since the update, when the F9 key is initially pressed, it performs one iteration. As the key is held down, the Task Bar flashes a "Calculating (8 threads) xx%" where xx appears to be a random percentage.  When the F9 key is released, it appears to perform a second iteration.

Has anyone else run into this issue, and if so, have they found a fix or a work around?  The workbook in question uses recursive techniques that the User has to watch to ascertain whether it is converging on equilibrium values or diverging (and will ultimately explode with #NUM and #VALUE errors).
