Macros in Excel

Hello, 

I have an Excel file from a network drive that has macros blocked. I have tried the following steps:

• Enabled macros in the Options > Trust Center >Trust Center Setting > Macro Settings
  • including Enable excel 2.0 macros when VBA macros are enabled
• Added the file path in Trusted Locations
• Added the network drive in Trusted Locations (including sub-folders) but get 'The remote or network path you have entered is not allowed by your current security settings'

So far the only workaround I have found it saving the file on my local desktop and then unblocking the security in properties.

Any suggestions?

1. Clear Trusted Docs cache
2. Clear the properties of the file through File | Info | Inspect Workbook (You can also clear properties through Windows)
