Lambda function availability

Hi folks

I am an office 365 subscriber (Version 2101 - Build 13628.20274) I also use Excel as part of my job which involves sharing my files across multiple machines, some of which may not be as up to date as I would like. I have read lots about the new Lambda function and I am keen to use it in the files I write, the information I have read implies it should be available, however, this doesn't seem to be the case, even after updating windows and office.

Does anyone know when it will be made available or do I have to become an office insider?

Thanks in advance.

Dave

When it'll be available in production - afraid nobody knows, even Microsoft. Depends on results for Beta and the volume of additional development and fixing to make it ready for the production.

If you actively share your files with other people when it's better to have another installation with the insider build - that could be virtual machine on you main one which is most suitable; spare hardware  is also a variant.
