Identifying background color of a cell in Excel?

I have transfer a Spreadsheet from Google Docs to my One Drive. In Google Sheets I can identify the color I used in the color picker, but I do not see have to do than in Excel. It becomes a hit or miss affair. How do I find the existing color in Excel?

Select the cell you want to investigate.

On the Home tab of the ribbon, in the Font group, click the arrow on the right hand side of the Fill Color button.

Select 'More Colors...'

Activate the Custom tab of the Colors dialog.

You'll see the RGB values (or HSL if you prefer) of the fill color.
