I am currently using the office 365 and trying to import the data from PDF files to Excel In this case, If I import the files as it is, the numbers will be treated as text values and excel cannot plot any graphs from these numbers.
So in Power query editor window, i have changed them into a whole value and later imported these numbers. But post importing, we are not able to get the decimal values. For e.g actual number of a column is 4.75 and after converting this into a whole number, it is changed to 5.
Later post importing this into excel, it will show as 5. When we increase the decimal values for this number, it will show 5.00. and not 4.75.
Is there a way to import data from PDF to excel in a number format

@Vaishali175 Select the data type in PQ to "Decimal Number" after import, i.e. NOT "Whole Number".
