How to change normal fromat as " 2017.01" to date format " 2017/01)

I got excel sheet and am requested to calculate the work ages . But the date of starting work were input as the normal fromat  (such as 2017.01), I have to change it to the date format  (just like   2017/01 ),  I have tired some methods to do it , but failed.  Anyone can help me with it ?  Thanks!

    Hello vera1682020,

     

    In the English version of Excel, that could be a number format of "yyyy/mm". Give this a try and let me know if it works for you.
