How to avoid Excel to give input suggestions when I type a letter in a cell

Hello,

I create crossword puzzels in excel and I sometimes get input suggestions from excel when I type a letter in a cell,  which is disturbing as the cell shall have exact one letter.

How can I avoid excel to give input suggestions?
