Hiding real time activity of participants in a selection filter

Im working in an excel sheet with 3 people and it works perfectly. I use the app version. However recently there is something different. Excel tracks where people are working, eg in which cell they are. However if one of the members uses a personal selection filter, his name also appears in the same cel where you apply the filter options. In fact it almost completely covers the arrow of the pull down menu. The icon of the person is alligned to the right on exactly the same spot as that arrow. This is really annoying cause it prevents me using the filter. Is there a way to hide this functionality? Or maybe a by pass?
