header overprints first row of data
How can I align the header vertically so it prints above the first row?

In the Margins tab of the Page Setup dialog, set the Header Margin and Top Margin so that there is enough room for the header text.
With a Header Margin of 0.25" and a Top Margin of 0.75", the room for the header is 0.75"-0.25" = 0.5".
But with a Header Margin of 0.5" and a Top Margin of 0.6", the room for the header is only 0.6"-0.5" = 0.1".
If that room is too small, the header will be pushed into the top row(s).
