Group Box for Check Box won't work

Hi.  I'm trying to set up a group of Form Control check-boxes to help make an interactive chart. But I can't assign them to the Group Checkbox I created. When I right click and select "Grouping" the Group options are all greyed out as per attachment.  

Does anyone know how to override this?

    Hi,

     

    You need to select all objects in order to enable the grouping feature.

    You can select them one by one using the Ctrl key.

    Or you can select them by mouse using the Select Objects option that explained in this https://youtu.be/GmiRIReKhhE?t=181.
