Gridline styles
Why do some of my workbooks have dotted gridlines while others have solid lines? How do I change the style of gridlines?

Hi David,
I guess we speak about Normal view and the gridlines at any place of any worksheet in the workbook. In general you may only change the colour of the gridlines for current worksheet in File->Options->Advanced. Gridline is always solid, but it could looks like dotted for some combinations of colurs and graphic resolutions, please check for example https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_excel-mso_winother-mso_2010/dotted-grid-in-excel-instead-of-smooth-lines/6b1eae86-f96c-4c09-93d3-bd3f86e4b651
Not sure what could be other reasons.
