Geographic data selector for historic regions (or adding regions into one geographic area)

Hi,

I'm using excel to map the number of farms in 2005 per NUTS-2 regions. However, I'm having troubles in finding the correct geographic location for each region, using data types - geography. For example, the region of Nord-pas-de-Calais in France. In 2005, this existed as one region, but since 2016 it exists of the two subregions Nord and Pas de Calais (both NUTS3 level). However, I only have data for the NUTS-2 region, which are 10 farms. In the data selector, bing does not find the historic NUTS2 Nord-pas-de-Calais region, but it does find the two NUTS3 regions of Nord and Pas de Calais, which can then be mapped accordingly, if I can combine these two in one area on the map, displaying 10 farms. Is this possible and can anyone help me to a solution? I was thinking of some kind of formula?

Cheers!
